Mix-Fi is a free lofi groovebox that writes complete beats for you, right in this page. Every track is generated from a seed, a single number, across four layers: drums, bass, chords, and a lead or texture. Press play and the music starts instantly; spin variations, reroll single layers, and sculpt the tone with a hardware-style mixer and a lo-fi effects rack (tape wobble, saturation, bit-crush grit, filter, vinyl noise, and reverb). No account, no install, and it even runs offline.
Longer loops unlock the arrangement brain: 8 to 32 bar songs get a real shape: intros that breathe, sections that thin out and lean in, and seams that land like an arrival, all steered by the Arc and Drama controls. Lock the layers you love, anchor the ones that must never drop out, and keep exploring around them.

Tracks you make with Mix-Fi are free to use commercially in games, videos, podcasts, and ads, or released as songs on streaming platforms, with no fees and no attribution required. The one limit: you can't resell the tracks themselves as standalone assets or sample packs. Because generation is deterministic, the license is non-exclusive, since anyone can regenerate the same seed. Read the music license →
