Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Mix-Fi at mix-fi.com and related apps (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Mix-Fi is a browser-based tool for generating and exporting lofi music. The Service is currently in beta and is provided free of charge, and features may change, break, or be removed as we develop it.
2. Your music
You own the tracks you create and export with the Service, and you may use them for free, including commercially, under our Music License (available from the menu). In short: use your tracks in end products and release them as songs freely; you just may not resell them as standalone assets, in sample packs, or in bulk. You are responsible for how you use exported audio.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't use the Service for anything unlawful or to infringe others' rights.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.
- Don't resell or redistribute the Service itself as your own.
4. Accounts (coming soon)
When accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
5. Subscriptions & payments (coming soon)
We plan to offer an optional paid subscription (for example, an ad-free experience with cloud saves) and paid native apps. Pricing, billing terms, and renewal or cancellation details will be presented at the point of purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
6. Advertising
The free version may include advertising. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads.
7. Intellectual property
The Service itself, including its software, source code, algorithms, design, name, and branding, is the proprietary intellectual property of Mix-Fi, protected by applicable laws, with all rights reserved. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended; they do not grant you any right to copy, modify, distribute, resell, reverse engineer, or create competing products from the Service or its code. This is separate from the tracks you create, which are covered by the Music License.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that saved data will always be preserved. Keep your own backups of anything important by exporting it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mix-Fi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
