Music License

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Music License covers the audio you create and export with Mix-Fi (your “Tracks”). In short: your Tracks are yours to use, including commercially, for free. There's just one limit, explained below. This license does not cover the Mix-Fi app itself (see “The Mix-Fi software” at the end).

1. Your Tracks are yours

You own the Tracks you make with Mix-Fi, subject to these terms. You get a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual right to use them, whether you're on the free version or a paid plan. No fees, no royalties, no separate clearance.

2. What you can do

3. The one limit: no reselling Tracks as assets

You may not redistribute or resell Tracks on a standalone basis, where the audio itself is the product other people buy to reuse. Specifically, you may not:

Rule of thumb: putting a track in your game or releasing it as a song is exactly what this is for. Selling the tracks as assets for other people to reuse is not.

4. No exclusivity

Mix-Fi is deterministic: the same seed produces the same music, so other people can generate Tracks identical or similar to yours. Your rights are non-exclusive. You can't claim exclusive ownership of a Track that others are also able to create. To keep things fair for everyone, don't register Mix-Fi Tracks with content-identification or rights systems (such as YouTube Content ID or a performing-rights organization) in a way that could block other users from using music they generated themselves.

5. The Mix-Fi software

This license is about your music, not the app. Mix-Fi's software, design, name, and branding are our intellectual property and are not licensed to you here. See the Terms of Service.
